The rights of the ever-free journalists in the Philippines might just get more, once a new law gets passed.
If this law gets passed, journalists in wire, broadcast, and in the Internet will have the privilege not to disclose their sources unless it is a matter of national security.
This will actually be an amendment of an already-existing law, the Sotto Law, which gives priviliege only to print journalists.
