The President is trying to create more jobs and improve basic services such as utilities, water, and shelter. Poverty has always been an issue in the Philippines. Filipinos kidnapped in Nigeria

On February 6 Philippine foreign ministry officials were able to confirm that Nigerian militants kidnapped two more Filipinos. Right now a total of 26 Filipinos have been kidnapped from Nigeria.
