Country pledges to create special courts against intellectual piracy

Book piracy, Internet piracy, and video piracy. These are just among the intellectual infringement cases in Manila. No wonder that, with infringement this widescale, the country was put on the watchlist of the US Trade Representative. Now, Washington demands that Manila strengthen its policies on intellectual property rights.

As a response, the Philippine government pledged to create special courts that will exclusively tackle intellectual piracy cases. More of the news here in ABS CBN News Online.
