Governments are like women, everywhere they are worried about figures, either to reduce or to increase them. One of the most ugly figures which a government wants to avoid (like waistline in women) is the inflation percentage. No one likes to see double figure inflation in their country (anymore than you would like to see a fat tummy women), but unfortunately this is what Philippines is dealing with currently @ 11%, its a really fat belly
