Ilo-Ilo jeepney operators and drivers hold 3-day transport strike

Pressured by the soaring prices of oil products in the world market and a city ordinance regulating the entry of provincial jeepneys to the city, members of the Federation of Iloilo Jeepney Operators and Drivers Associations (FIJODA) started a 3-day transport strike, paralyzing transport routes to and from Ilo-Ilo City and the towns outside it. However, jeepney operators inside the city did not join the protest and continued on with their work.
