Davao City has banned aerial spraying of banana plantations and the Pilipino Banana Growers and Exporters Association (PBGEA) must respect the decision. The banana growers are less than thrilled. They will have to downsize to make room for roads to spray pesticides through other means. Aerial spraying is the best way since the public wants bananas with a certain appearance and size.
