An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.3 hit the seas in the northernmost part of the country last Sunday. Fortunately, nobody was injured in the incident and no issue of tsunamis was released even though it left deep cracks on some houses.
The epicenter of the at sea 85 kilometers southwest of Basco, Batanes, the country's northernmost province.
