The country's top beach destination, Boracay, expects more visitors to come as the Kalibo International Airport opens up more flight from Taiwan and mainland China.
The island expects the visitors to double from 2007's half a million visitors to around a million by the end of the year. Upgrades in the Kalibo are now underway to be able to accept more tourists.
