At least 70 bank accounts named after former agriculture undersecretary Jocelyn "Joc-Joc" Bolante and other related identities will be frozen, as issued by a Court of Appeal order. The Court granted the petition of the Anti-Money Laundering Council after the latter raised the possibility that the proceeds of the 720-million fertilizer fund scam were deposited in those accounts.
It can be remembered that Bolante was accused of moving her department's funds for the President's campaign fund last 2004.
